A busy start to the final half term of this academic year and i can’t believe we are into July next week!

Another busy month and the end of Summer term 1.
At the beginning of the month our Year 5 children went to Outwood, Easingwold to take part in Medical Mavericks enrichment morning.
Welcome back to the Summer Term! We hope everyone had a fabulous Easter and holiday break.
The week before we broke up was full of ‘Eggciting’ Easter fun activities very much enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to FOHS for organising the much loved Egg Decorating Competition and Easter Egg Hunt!
Time just flies and I can’t believe we are nearing the end of the Spring term!
At the beginning of the month Class 3 thoroughly enjoyed their Country Dancing workshop and then shared their learning and taught some basic steps to the whole school! The children had an amazing traditional dancing session linked to Let’s Dance Day! We are very grateful to Mrs Bradley for her instruction and lots of fun was had by all!
Once again it has been a very busy month in school which started with our NSPCC Maths curriculum enrichment day
Class 1 really enjoyed number day this year, we worked in pairs in the hall to complete a carrousel of activities
focusing on place value and numbers up to 20, we also completed some puzzles to challenge our understanding of
shape!
The EYFS children loved making ladybird biscuits with a focus on counting and cardinality of counting.
